Second Split (July 2014)

This started as a short story about a racing driver who kills a spectator in a tragic accident and developed into the story of Penny Aston, the most successful woman in motorsport. Having made history in a male dominated arena, everything she worked for is torn from her. She must risk her life, and the lives of those she loves, to regain what was hers - and lay bare a shocking secret which has lain hidden in plain sight for three decades.

One of the many joys of writing this novel has been the research - specifically, location scouting. Second Split has
Stowe Corner, Silverstone
taken me to Bunhill Fields in London, the Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire, Edinburgh, the Eastern Highlands of Scotland, and the French Riviera. Also, tangentially, Toronto: although it doesn't feature in the novel, I have transported one of its key annual events to a European location.

It's now available in Amazon's Kindle Store and in print from Lulu.

The Art of Living Dangerously

As I've mentioned, the first Lily Thorne novel started life as a screenplay. Mailing list subscribers will receive a free copy when they sign up.

Untitled project

I am also co-writing a new screenplay with an old friend and colleague; the details must, alas, remain under wraps for now.
